Klubertemp HM 83-402 is a high-performance long-term lubricating grease designed for demanding industrial lubrication applications. It is formulated with PFPE base oil and PTFE, providing excellent thermal stability, chemical resistance and load-carrying performance for high-temperature operating conditions. According to the manufacturer's product information, the grease is designed for applications up to 260°C.
PFPE High Temperature Grease for Demanding Applications
As a PFPE high temperature grease,Klubertemp HM 83-402 is particularly suitable for lubrication points exposed to high temperatures, heavy loads and aggressive operating environments. PFPE-based lubrication provides excellent resistance to many chemicals and vapors while maintaining stable lubrication performance at elevated temperatures.
The product uses PFPE as the base oil and PTFE as the solid lubricant/thickener system. The combination makes Klubertemp HM 83-402 suitable for applications where conventional industrial greases may not provide sufficient thermal or chemical resistance.
High Temperature Bearing Grease
Klubertemp HM 83-402 is widely suited to medium-speed rolling bearings operating under high temperatures and loads. As a high temperature bearing grease, it can be used for both initial lubrication and relubrication, helping extend maintenance intervals and reduce lubrication-related downtime.
The product has an operating temperature range of approximately -30°C to +260°C, with a base-oil viscosity of approximately 420 mm²/s at 40°C. Its four-ball welding load is ≥8,000 N, demonstrating strong load-carrying capability.
PTFE High Temperature Grease
The PTFE component gives Klubertemp HM 83-402 excellent performance in high-temperature lubrication. This PTFE high temperature grease is designed for demanding lubrication points where thermal stability, load resistance and material compatibility are important.
The grease is white in appearance and has an NLGI grade of 2. It is also reported to have good compatibility with most plastics and elastomers, although material compatibility should always be verified before series production.
